Ati Adventures uses tiered group pricing — the price per person depends on how many people join, and it drops as the group grows. Clients can check out the Adventure Calendar to join an existing trip at a lower price, or start their own group for a preferred date by paying a 2-person minimum deposit and hopefully have other people join over the coming weeks or days.

• • DAY 1 - ASCENT & CAMP
    • 7:00 AM: Meet at the Ati Adventure Center in Panajachel for a mandatory check-in to collect camping gear
    • 7:45 AM: Transfer to the dock for the public boat to Santiago Atitlán.
    • 8:10 AM: Board the public boat to Santiago Atitlán.
    • 9:00 AM: Arrive in Santiago Atitlán and set off on foot, walking through the village streets before the trail gradually leads us into fields of maize and coffee. It's a living landscape shaped by the daily work of local farmers and the volcanic soil beneath our feet.
    • 11:30 AM: As the trail rises, the farmlands give way to dense cloud forest. Here, the air cools, the light softens, and the forest reveals its towering oaks, mosses, and hidden birdlife. We hike steadily, pausing to rest and enjoy the shifting views of Lake Atitlán below.
    • 2:00 PM: We stop for lunch along the trail, recharging before the final push. The last stretch grows steeper and more rugged, reminding us that Tolimán is both beautiful and demanding.
    • 5:00 PM: By late afternoon, we reach our campsite at the saddle between Tolimán's twin summits. After setting up tents, there's time to explore the volcano's dramatic imploded crater or simply rest with a warm drink in hand. Dinner is shared under the forest canopy, and we settle into camp life.
  • DAY 2 - SUNRISE & DESCENT
    • 5:30 AM: Before dawn, we take a short hike from camp to one of Toliman's summits. As the sky glows and the first light touches the horizon, Lake Atitlán and the surrounding volcanoes reveal themselves in a spectacular sunrise.
    • 7:00 AM: Back at camp, we gather for breakfast, pack our gear, and take time to enjoy the stillness of the morning forest.
    • 9:30 AM: By late morning, we begin our descent, winding back through cloud forest, farmlands, and the edges of Santiago Atitlán..
    • 12:00 PM: We arrive in Santiago Atitlán, tired but fulfilled, with a deeper connection to one of Lake Atitlán's most distinctive volcanoes.
    • 12:15 PM - 1:00 PM: We board the public boat back to Panajachel, arriving at the Ati Adventure Center to return gear and close out the adventure (return time will depend on when the public boat departs, which can vary significantly).
