We connect adventure with research by collaborating with local NGOs and scientific teams to support fieldwork across Lake Atitlán’s protected areas. Together, we contribute to activities such as native tree seed collection, ecological monitoring, and geological surveys, helping generate valuable data that strengthens conservation efforts while giving travelers a deeper understanding of the region’s natural systems

Reforestation & Clean Trail
Every year, we lead native tree planting campaigns and organize cleanup initiatives across Lake Atitlán’s parks and trails.
These efforts restore degraded landscapes, reduce waste, and engage people in hands-on conservation—one tree and one trail at a time.

Ati Adventures supports the protection and restoration of Lake Atitlán’s local parks, which are critical yet often overlooked conservation areas. By booking an Ati-guided hike, climb, or paddle within these parks, you help generate awareness and funding for trail maintenance, signage, and habitat restoration.
In partnership with Vivamos Mejor Guatemala, Ati works to make these parks financially and socially sustainable, proving that responsible tourism can strengthen both ecosystems and communities for the long term.
