Starting from Santiago Atitlan, this 8-hour experience takes us through the community of Santiago Atitlan and up a majestic trail of wildlife and geological formations culminating with one of the most spectacular views of the volcanic chain of Guatemala.

A beautiful hike that starts and ends in the town of Santiago Atitlan, winds up through corn plantations and into the tropical cloud forest, Toliman offers a fulfilling as well as challenging adventure.

quetzalio waterfall day hike

pana traverse half day hike
Experience a half-day intermediate hike through the forests and agricultural zones in the mountains above Panajachel. This is one of our favorite hikes out of Panajachel because it is short but offers beautiful views over the town of Pana and the lake Atitlan watershed. During this hike we go through the oak forests as well as the onion and corn fields in the highest part of this hike as we get close to the community of Buena Vista.
